Hristo Stoichkov presents the LUKOIL Childrens Champions Cup

The legend of Bulgarian football and FC Barcelona and Ballon D’Or recipient Hristo Stoichkov presented the LUKOIL Childrens Champions Cup in Moscow. He has been an ambassador for the international project «LUKOIL Childrens Champions Cup» since 2013.
The Bulgarian Ambassador to Russia Boyko Kotzev and the ambassador of the 2018 World Cup and Russian Football Union anti-racism and discrimination inspector Alexey Smertin also attended the event.
«I want to wish these children success in sports and learning. Sport requires sacrifices, character and discipline to achieve results. This is the Championship’s fifth anniversary and I’ve been a part of it since the very beginning. I am happy it gets stronger every year,» Stoichkov said.
This year the international final of the LUKOIL Childrens Champions Cup will take place in Bulgaria. From 6th to 10th September Bulgaria will welcome the winners of the qualification stages, one of whom will become the new Champion for 2017.
